You get a full orchestra for just 350 $, that's a good deal, however the quality and the precision and quality of the sounds is quite weak, I don't really like how strings sound, brass and woodwinds sound even worst. My opinion about the value for the price is great, this product can be bought for 350 $, which is way cheaper than other orchestral packs. This product has 24-bit/96kHz sampling resolution.

I also like how amateur friendly is the design, very easy visually to find your right patch or your articulation. What I like most about this product are the different articulations, the different type of strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and Keyboards, a great vibrato and tremolo included with the instruments, and of course pizzicato and spiccato. I've been using Edirol for two or three years. I'm getting great performances in using different orchestral elements in my songs, a very nice grand piano is included here. The software has a good level of stability, no issues found while using it for some time. The software works correctly in its initial configuration. The setup doesn't require a lot of time or effort, it's very fast and easy to manage.

The manual that is included with the software is more than enough to obtain the necessary knowledge of how the pack works and how to use it. i noticed another person posted a similar problem, but it was misunderstood because it wasn't completely clear.Edirol Orchestral is compatible with different working platforms like Xp, Vista, 7 or MAC. sorry for the lengthy post, but i just want to make sure that you understand exactly what i am talking about. So i know Mixcraft has the ability to read different MIDI channels, the problem is that i cant seem to find a way to manually assign them. It played an instrument that was assigned to a different MIDI channel. I had 1 track that was assigned to a MIDI channel other than one, and when i played that track, it didnt play the default Flute like it normally does.
I exported a MIDI file from that program and uploaded it into mixcraft. I have another program called Guitar Pro, which you can assign each midi track to a channel 1-16. Now i said before that i had a glitch that proved mixcraft has the ability to change tracks. So every time I load a piece using Edirol, i have to re-assign all of those individual tracks to that instrument because i can't create my own set of 16 that mixcraft can utilize. The problem is that instead of having 1 set of 16 instruments for Mixcraft to utilize, I have to have a separate set for EVERY track with its own instrument on MIDI channel 1, because thats the only channel mixcraft uses. So every track is stuck on the first instrument in Edirol, which I can change. I know this because the library default for channel 1 is Flute, and the track always starts out playing flute until i change it. By default, Mixcraft has every track set to MIDI channel 1. Then you choose which tracks will play which instruments by assigning each track to the matching channels. I am using Edirol Orchestral libraries, and the way it is set up is that you can select 16 different instruments that will all be played from different channels. In Mixcraft I cannot find out how to do that, though i know the program has those capabilities due to an importing glitch I had once. In my experience, most programs that use MIDI allow the user to assign each track to a certain MIDI channel (usually 1-16). I am having issues utilizing features of some of my libraries due to a possible short coming on Mixcraft.
